So last night I got to see Street Corner Symphony live in concert and it was AMAZING!! Also at the show was The Cocktails from University of South Carolina, The Bell Tower Boys from Furman, and Take Note from Clemson. Truly an entertaining night.
Its Been Awhile
So second semester has flown by. I can’t believe in 23 days I will be done with my freshman year of college. CRAZY, I know. So much has happened in the past few weeks. I was hired to be an RA next year, which I am super excited about and I also will be a student ambassador for the college of education at AU! And I somehow got pulled into the secretary position for the student alumni association. Next year will be really busy but it should be alot of fun!!

Normally I was all for snow days in high school but we are on day number 2 of cancelled classes and just found out tomorrow is cancelled to. So you could imagine after the now 36 days I have been on Christmas break I am ready for something productive to do. My day today consisted of re decorating my door, then my roommate and I watched people play monopoly, yes watched not played, that is how board we got, then we all decieded to order pizza. I know this is off topic but please explain to me how a pizza is delivered faster during an snow/ice storm than it is on any other given day??? But we ate pizza and watched My Sisters Keeper, then we played Mad Gab and Buzz Words for another 2 hrs. So then we started racing each other down the hallway because there was nothing else better to do! I can only imagaine what day number three is going to bring??
So we went out again at like 11:30 at night cause we were board and had nothing better to do! Lets just say we weren’t the only ones out there!
Okay so Christmas break was over and I wall all moved back into my dorm and ready to start classes, then the first day of classes (and the second) was cancelled cause we got like 6 in of snow!!! Now you may be saying so??? But I live in South Carolina, where we usually get nothing but ice, so snow like real snow is amazing!!! Here are the pictures of my already pretty campus covered in snow!!
So I got two awsome presents for Christmas. Tickets to see Dave Barnes again, and a new camera. My camera is awsome its 26x zoom has already come in very handy lol. So here is some random pics I have taken with it.
So while out for Christmas break my brother and I had a few friends over to play some games and eat lots of food. It reminded me that it’s the time we spend with the ones we love that creates the memories that last a lifetime, and keeps you laughing!

It’s funny how somebody you spent so much time with and shared so much of your life with can just all of a sudden decide to act like you don’t even exist.
Another highlight of my first semester of college is going to the Monster Monster Tour. On this tour was Between the Trees (one of my new favorite bands), House of Heros, Chasen, and The Almost. It was a great night of music and friends.
